Almost Damned Review

Hi there fellow readers!

As you already know, I’m a sucker for a book that is completely unlike other books that I’ve read before. I have to say, I’ve never read anything like Almost Damned by Christopher Leibig before. Almost Damned is Book Two in this series. The first book is called Almost Mortal and I do suggest reading the first book before diving into the second one. There is a lot of backstory that you’ll be missing if you skip the Almost Mortal and it could get confusing without the first book.

These books are based on a super unique premise that combines legal thriller with angels, demons, and psychics. For all my Supernatural tv show fans out there, these books remind me a lot of that show except instead of the Winchester brothers, we follow Sam, a super-smart defense attorney with some very special clients, and in book two, one very unique case.

Almost Damned moves very quickly and there was a time or two that I got a tiny bit lost just because the pace was so quick and I had to kind of remember who we were talking about and where we were going with everything. But a big plus about how quickly it moves is that it never gets boring. Also, there is an index of characters and their descriptions at the beginning of the book just in case you get confused with everything going on. I did refer to this once or twice, especially because some of the characters have more than one name and I had to remember who exactly they were.

Overall, I really enjoyed Almost Damned and I can’t wait to see what comes next for this series! You can pick up a copy at Amazon, Walmart, or other book retailers.

Also, be on the lookout, I have a really cool Perfect Pairing coming this week for Almost Damned. You’re going to love it!
